We utilized Milanote for central note-taking and design presentations. Art direction: Mockups followed, settling on sprite design and colour palette. With clean organization, we were ahead of schedule, and introduced puzzle variables, such as "blocks" that are eliminated if a merge happens adjacently. The extra time also allowed us to improve UX, such as integrating an in-game tutorial. Albeit we weren't able to fit it within the scope of the jam, we designed and programmed a map generation system post-launch. I created and managed tasks on Asana for the team, ensuring that goals were clear, and all information discussed in our Discord server was centralized. Asana also came with a timeline feature that made scheduling more visual. Smooth production and clear project management creates time advantages that can lend to "polish," and thus, we always tend to rank relatively high.
